Thomas Brown explained that because Judson Mitchell was leaving UNLV, Diana DeSimone would automatically graduate from president elect status to president. Election for both the new CUPA president and all other officers will be held in July, 1994.
All those present were encouraged to compete for CUPA's Roadrunner Award. UNLV said they would be cubmitting Judson Mitchell's newsletter Bright Idea for award consideration.
The group learned that the CUPA account had been set up and is ready to receive our first year dues. The bill will be attached to the minutes for payment processing by each institution director.
Thomas Brown suggested a need for coordination from Southern Nevada for upcoming Regional meeting to be held in Las Vegas in 1995.
The next meeting was scheduled to follow the personnel meeting to be held January 25, 1994.
The meeting was adjourned.
